Eastleigh maintained their charge for the play-offs with a 2-0 victory at Maidenhead.
Eastleigh welcomed back Dean Beckwith to the starting line-up with Alex Lacy dropping to the bench.
Neither goalkeeper had to make more than a routine save in the first period of the half but Billy Lumley then had to make a save from a blistering shot from Eastleigh’s Chris Zebroski at the expense of a corner.
Dave Pratt then forced a save from Ross Flitney at the other end.
However, Eastleigh took the lead in the 45th minute when handball was awarded against Behzadi and Jai REASON converted the resulting penalty.
The all important second goal was scored when substitute Alex LACEY headed home a corner from Jail Reason. Before then Eastleigh had the better chances with Zebroski having one shot that hit the inside of the post before rebounding into the grateful hands of Maidenhead goalkeeper Billy Lumley.
Lumley also made good successive saves from Dale Binns and Damian Scannell.
Immediately before the goal Lumley also made a good save from Todd which resulted in a corner from which he scored the second goal.
Although Flitney had one difficult save to make early in the second-half Lumley was by far the busier of the two goalkeepers.
