Two estates to get a clean-up

Free compost and cut price recycling bins will be available during a council clean-up of two town estates.

Residents will be able to get free compost from the car parks in Chatsworth Drive next Wednesday and Queensway next Thursday, from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

Cherwell District Council will also offer blue and brown bins for £10 instead of the usual price of £18 or £15 respectively.

It is part of a cleaning “blitz” of the Calthorpe and Easington estates where Cherwell District Council teams will tackle fly tipping, dog fouling and graffiti.

Why are comments not welcome in the "College doesn't have to release CCTV footage" story (one above this at time of writing)?
OCVC again a special case?

Are the Calthorpe and Easington estates top Council Tax band areas or is this Cherwell sending missionaries to do good works amongst the impoverished?
If the latter, why do they think communist Oxford City Council is worth imitating? Nobody else does.
