Plant will turn human waste into electricity

A machine which converts human waste into electricity is to be installed at Oxford’s sewage works in Grenoble Road by 2015.
Thames Water already has one of the thermal hydrolysis plants in Banbury.
Spokesman Lawrence Gosden said: “This is good for the environment, our business and customers.”
