Machine will turn sewage into electricity
4:10pm Thursday 14th March 2013 in News
A MACHINE which converts human waste into electricity is to be installed at Oxford’s sewage works in Grenoble Road by 2015.
Thames Water already has the thermal hydrolysis process plants around the UK, including Banbury.
The firm said the process generated 14 per cent of its annual energy needs.

My grandad reckoned the old sewage works (before Blackbird Leys was invented) grew some of the tastiest tomatoes he'd ever eaten - though apparently during WW2 they also used to eat horsemeat, so maybe it's all a mattet of taste?
Keep a suitable watering can in your bathroom for when you micturate and then use it to keep your tomato compost moist.
Some people will deliver direct in the garden, but your actions may be misunderstood by neighbours overlooking your property.
You will get very impressive tomatoes!
