Farmers warned to protect tractors from thieves

POLICE are urging farmers to get their agricultural vehicles tagged to safeguard against theft.

Police are offering home visits to farms across south and east Oxfordshire next month to security tag equipment at discounted prices.

Home visits to carry out the CESAR equipment protection are being carried out on four days.

The service, which costs £88, will be offered in the Thame area on Monday, April 8, and in villages around Wallingford on Tuesday, April 9.

People in the Faringdon and Wantage area will be able to book in a visit on Monday, April 22, and Tuesday, April 23, respectively.
