THE A40 has been shut in both directions from Burford to Minster Lovell after a lorry crash this morning.
It is not expected to re-open until after 12.
Police have said the road is expected to be closed for up to three hours after the lorry overturned at about 6am on the eastbound lane near the Asthall Barrow roundabout.
The Highways Agency and recovery services are on the scene and diversions are being put in place, police said.
