PRINCESS Anne visited Oxford yesterday for the first part of an annual conference about the Commonwealth.
She visited the CSCLeaders conference to listen to discussions between Commonwealth leaders at Rhodes House about how industry and communities can work together.
The conference is organised by international leadership development organisation, Common Purpose, as part of a project set up by The Duke of Edinburgh.
The Princess Royal is patron of the study conferences which have run about every seven years since 1956.
Common Purpose project director Vanessa Emmett said: “We are excited to be hosting 100 Commonwealth leaders from 28 countries in Oxford.
“They are working together and developing innovative ideas to build bridges between diverse communities, cultures and challenges which they will take back to their own countries.”
Common Purpose CEO Julia Middleton said: “This is the time for a refreshed Commonwealth to tackle the challenges the world faces.”
