THESE youngsters may be a few years too young to get their driving licences, but that didn’t stop them trying out a few scooters for size.
This weekend, dozens of scooter enthusiasts gathered at the Ferryman Inn, Bablock Hythe, to mark the Oxford Roadrunners Club’s 35th anniversary.
Roadrunners brought along their bikes, caught up with old friends and reunited with original members of the organisation.
Among those at the event were scooter fanatics Anette Sandvoss, 41, her husband Helge and their son, Luke, aged 13 months.
Mrs Sandvoss is the proud owner of a Vespa P200 while her husband has both a Vespa Chopper and a Lambretta.
The family, who used to live in Abingdon, recently moved to Slough, Berkshire, but are still members of the club.
Mr Sandvoss, 41, said: “It was a really nice day.
“It was really good to meet other people we hadn’t seen for a while.
“Luke loves to sit on the scooters.”
Mrs Sandvoss said: “We always go when we can.
