THIS photograph shows the moment a burglar, who stole war medals in Oxford, was caught on a camera with the laptop he stole.

Alexander Wright, 23, of no fixed abode, was photographed by a market trader in Milton Keynes when he sold him the stolen laptop.

Wright, of no fixed address, was jailed for three years at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday after admitting the crime and asked for three Oxford burglaries to be taken into consideration.

The market trader photographed Wright after he broke into the home in Beanhill, Milton Keynes, on September 3. He was arrested the next day.

Wright also admitted stealing an iPod and cash from a home in Lark Hill, North Oxford, on August 25, and taking a Samsung Galaxy tablet computer from a house in St Cross Road on the same day.

He also admitted stealing war medals, jewellery, a wallet and cash from a house in Chalfont Road, North Oxford, on August 27.
