Burglar targeted cafe

OXFORD: A burglar who used a fire extinguisher to break into an ice cream cafe has been given a drug rehabilitation order.
Michael Leslie, 31, of Luther Street, smashed his way into George and Danver in St Aldate’s on Friday and stole two laptops, an iPod and £9 cash.
On the same day he tried to break into the Formosan Tea Bar in High Street and The Tanning Shop in Blue Boar Street. He also broke into Pizza Hut in George Street.
Leslie admitted two counts of attempted burglary and two counts of burglary at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
He was also told to pay £580 costs.
