Supervisors who deal with criminals are due to protest today against plans to privatise the probation service.
Members of trade union the National Association of Probation Officers (Napo) say the move would compromise public safety and leave the criminals in the hands of private firms.
The protest will take place today in Oxford's Bonn Square between 1pm and 2pm.
