Daniel Oakes, 25, of Foscote Rise, Banbury, admitted using racially aggravated threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause alarm or distress in Broad Street, Banbury, and at Banbury Police Station, Warwick Road, on July 7. Admitted using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Broad Street, Banbury, on July 7. Admitted obstructing or resisting a special constable in Broad Street, Banbury on July 7. Given a six-month conditional discharge for obstructing a constable. Fined a total of £255 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Jared Woodhouse, 27, of Bramley Close, Kidlington, admitted attempting to steal a cash register from the Leopard Press in Windmill Road, Headington, Oxford, on August 28. Also admitted stealing £80 from Alison’s Animals in the Parade, Kidlington, on August 9, and stealing an Apple MacBook from The Goldfish Bowl in Magdalen Road, Oxford, on August 27. Jailed for 12 weeks.
Trevor Jackson, 50, of Merton Street, Banbury, admitted producing six juvenile cannabis plants in Banbury on August 23. Fined £200 with a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Paul Malcher, 47, of Heathcote Avenue, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Elton Road, Banbury, on July 4. Had 103 milligrams of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80 milligrams. Fined £500 with a £50 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 14 months.
Curtis Mercada, 19, of Withycombe Drive, Banbury, admitted failing to comply with a direction given by a police constable to leave West Bar Street, Banbury, and not return for 48 hours on August 23. Fined £100, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
