A 32-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after being accused of filming a women’s changing room at Abingdon Police Station.
The man, who is not an officer or Thames Valley Police staff member, was arrested last week.
Police have said they could not confirm details about the investigation, but the Oxford Mail understands it centres on filming within the women’s changing area in the station at Colwell Drive.
A spokeswoman said she could not comment about whether a device had been seized, when the filming is alleged to have taken place or the number of potential victims.
However, she did say the man had been released on police bail until Saturday, November 9.
It is understood the man had previously been employed at least a year ago by Initial Facilities Management – the company that manages the station for Thames Valley Police.
An Initial spokesman said: “Employees have references taken as part of the recruitment process and we include a police national computer check.”
