10:00am Thursday 31st October 2013 in News
A man from Berinsfield must pay almost £600 after he stripped naked in a town police station cell, waved his genitals and backside towards the cell’s camera and repeatedly pressed the cell intercom so that staff would look in at him.
David Turnock, 45, of Fane Drive, admitted indecent behaviour and also admitted assaulting a woman by beating at ASK restaurant in Abingdon on the same date – June 29.
In an appearance at Oxford Magistrates’ Court, he was given an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £75 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £500 costs.
