ARTIST Tim Widdowson has captured Oxfordshire’s varied landscapes in his latest exhibition of watercolour and acrylic paintings.
Art lovers can visit Unseen Oxfordshire at Didcot’s Cornerstone Arts Centre in Station Road until Sunday, November 10.
The exhibition includes paintings of Didcot Power Station alongside well-known and lesser-known areas of interest in the county.
Great-grandfather-of-two Mr Widdowson, who has lived in and worked from his studio in Long Wittenham for more than 30 years, said: “I have been painting the power station for years and now it is coming down I cannot do enough of it.
“I think people are getting romantic about it.”
The 75-year-old said he enjoys painting Oxford and added: “Oxford is fantastic.
“I have painted a lot of Oxford and exhibited there.
“The old city is very picturesque and it is juxtaposed against the more industrial bit.”
