Secretary of State for local government Eric Pickles and Oxford West and Abingdon MP Nicola Blackwood will visit the site of the proposed solar farm in Besselsleigh on Tuesday.
Villagers in Besselsleigh have opposed the plan by Hive Energy to build a 120-acre solar farm just outside the village.
The company has held a public consultation but has yet to submit a planning application. The pair are expected to visit the site for 30 minutes.
