EXPLORER and author Sir Ranulph Fiennes addressed the Oxford Union on Monday night.

Sir Ranulph, who climbed Mount Everest at the age of 65 and was the first man to completely cross Antarctica on foot, spoke at the famous debating society about his adventures .

Audience members from the debate posted about their delight with the talk on Twitter, with one proclaiming that he was “a contender for greatest living Briton”.
