A 27-year-old man yesterday admitted brandishing two Gurkha ceremonial knives in the car park of Cowley police station.

Subash Thapa pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article and affray following the incident on November 23.

Thapa, of Oxford Road, Cowley, was released on bail to be sentenced on Thursday, January 16.
