AN OXFORD father has made a heartfelt plea to the public, as the search continues for his missing son.

Boars Hill resident Tom Billings, 22, who was travelling in Vancouver, has not been seen since November 25.

Vancouver police believe he may have gone to the North Shore for a hike the day he went missing.

In an emotional press conference yesterday, his father Martin Billings said: “We think that Tom could be out there somewhere. Hopefully, he’s holed up in a warm place and someone has seen him who can pass information on to police.

“I think the most likely thing is he has got in trouble on the mountain.

“We just hope he can be found somewhere safe and can get back to his normal life.”

Mr Billings is described as white, 5 foot 10 inches tall, with short blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and grey military style trousers.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Vancouver police at 604-717-3321.
