Police appeal for help to find missing Jayden Parkinson

The Oxford Times: Jayden Parkinson Jayden Parkinson

POLICE have tonight issued an appeal to find a girl missing for the past week.

Jayden Parkinson, 17, was last seen leaving the 1 Foot Forward hostel for young people in Iffley Road mid-afternoon last Tuesday, police said. She did not return as expected that evening.

Inspector Chris Simpson said Jayden - described as white, of slim build with shoulder length dark brown hair and brown eyes - could be in either Oxford or Reading.

He added: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Jayden’s welfare as she has little access to money and she has not been in phone contact which is out of character for her.

“She could be in Oxford or Reading areas with friends and if this is the case we would urge her or them to get in contact. Jayden is not in any trouble but we need to get in touch with her to ensure she is safe and well.”

Police are appealing for Jayden or anyone who knows where she is to call Insp Simpson via the police non-emergency number 101.
