A street trader has been warned against operating beyond his permitted hours.
Haroon Khan’s licence was reviewed by the city council’s licensing committee after he was caught selling food from his van in New Road, in the city centre after 3am, when his licensing hours end.
Council spokesman Chris Lee said: “The committee issued Mr Khan with a strict warning as to his future conduct.
“The committee instructed officers to make further inspections of Mr Khan’s street trading site and to bring him back before the committee if any breaches of conditions are found.”
