ONE of Santa’s reindeers met some youngsters at a youth centre party ahead of his busiest night of the year.
Among those meeting the furry helper at Kidlington Early Intervention Hub was Brooke Varley, eight, with cousin Kyra, ten.
Brooke, a West Kidlington Primary School pupil who attends the centre once a fortnight, said: “I like the reindeers. I hadn’t really seen them up close. It was exciting.”
Mum Sharon Varley, of Grovelands in the village, said of Saturday’s event: “It was a really good day. The community really enjoyed it. The girls had lots of fun.”
Visitors to the Oxford Road service – formerly the Forum Young People’s Centre – also had the chance to enjoy a disco.
