YOUNGSTER Fenn Hewitt has got a taste of success after his dish was chosen as the cream of the crop.
The 12-year-old Moulsford Preparatory School pupil came up with a so-called ‘make your own pizza’ dish which will be put on the menu of the Old Post Office restaurant in Wallingford.
He said: “You can put toppings on it. You can put what you want. “I really like pizza, though my mum helped me come up with the dish.”
The competition was run across Oakman Inns’ pubs in Oxfordshire during the summer holidays.
Nine-year-old Imogen Holt designed a ‘sausage boat’ for the menu of the Blue Boar in Witney.
The head chefs at both pubs picked their favourite dishes from among the entries.
