Fire service called out to tents at risk of flooding
THE fire service was called to Oatlands Road playing field off Ferry Hinksey Road in Oxford this afternoon after reports that tents were at risk of flooding.
Police alerted the fire service after it was suspected the tents were occupied.
A fire engine from Rewley Road station and a fire service boat from Kidlington station attended the scene off Ferry Hinksey Road but it the tents were found to be unoccupied.
