A nurse is to be medically assessed after threatening an autistic girl.

A Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) hearing this week heard Lucy Hasker was working for an unnamed private trust in August 2010 when she told the girl, known as Patient C, she was caring for: “You’ve been naughty. I am on tonight and you are going to get it.”

The panel has now referred the case to the NMC Health Committee as the nurse’s health may be a factor to her ability to practice.

Hasker has admitted clinical failings while working for Helen and Douglas House Hospice between 2009 and March last year including failing to administer drugs to a patient, giving a patient medication without prescription and being unable to work without supervision.
