An 81-year-old man who suffered from motor neurone disease was found strangled at home, an inquest heard yesterday.
Reginald Shaw, of Brookhampton Close, Stadhampton, was discovered by his son in his wheelchair with material around his neck on January 12.
Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court heard that Mr Shaw’s cause of death was ligature strangulation.
The inquest was adjourned until a later date.
