Woman not jailed

The Oxford Times: . .

A woman who cut her face and pretended she was the victim of two assaults to get her estranged husband’s attention has avoided jail.

Michelle Miller, 32, of Brandon Close, Kidlington, appeared at Oxford Crown Court yesterday to be sentenced for harassment and perverting the course of justice.

Recorder Simon Blackford sentenced her to a community order with 12 months supervision and told her to pay £1,500 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £250 costs.

It is not the words that tell a story or how it's told, it's the details behind the story that don't get shared that tell the WHOLE story. Love, loss, hurt, break down, regret and most of all a child these are what's not told and what really makes the story. I hope people will give this a thought before they judge.

And sometimes it's as simple as it looks. Pretending to be assaulted when millions of women worldwide are legitimately each year with many losing their lives? It doesn't matter what the "details" are. If they were pertinent, they would have been published. If this had happened in the U.S you'd have been locked away in a mental hospital indefinitely. It's clear you see nothing wrong with your actions or you would not be asking people to not make judgement. Stop denying responsibility and deal with it like the rest of the world. I feel for your intended victims...

And if all the facts could be said then the report would be very different this is what I'm trying to say. Are things black and white? no not at all. Things are political and people will use who and what they can which can change an out come. The true story will come out maybe not now but it will and then let's see who is judged.

No not everything in life is black and white but where laws are concerned there isn't gray area. I will watch purposely, with baited breath, for the "facts" to emerge. I have a feeling that those"facts"will never ever emerge because they aren't fact at all. Just the figment of an imagination that feels that it needs to defend those wrong actions rather than accept responsibility, get mental and therapeutic help and move forward to create a new life. Instead, you waste time of those who read this with your whines of how this isn't fair or that was political, etc. I have news for you sweetheart. Nothing in life is fair and the politics will always be there. Maybe it's time to take a step back and figure yourself out ithout drama or hurting those close to you (assuming you have some). Stand up, brush yourself off, put on your big girl panties and do what you must to right the wrongs and clean up yourself in order to become a productive contribution to society.

A very good statement I do see and take as it is said, I've not hidden behind a fake name or a badge of any kind, I just wanted to say my point, I asked for no reply or any comment I just wanted to show people that words can be hurtful. I'm not one to use things to hurt others and I have and always will apologise for the things I've done wrong. I would give anything to try and make things right, not for me but the people I care about. No one is perfect and yes the whole story will be told! Thank you for your input realityroyalty 😌

My name doesn't matter since I'm in the US. I clearly stated that previously. I read things all over the web and when I see stories like these then whiny little comments saying don't judge I feel I had to say something. You say that you'd give anything to try and make things right. The question is how you view right? Is it playing for sympathy to a man who, from how the article reads, has obviously moved on with his life? You say there is a child involved. What about making an admirable role model out of yourself and not only accept responsibility but do something to fix yourself and make your kid proud of you. I pray to God the child isn't old enough to realize your problems out what you did because if he/she is then who knows what kind of irreparable damage you've already caused. Go get treatment, move on and find a life worth living where NO MAN is worth acting the way you have been acting. There are other men out there and once you've fixed yourself then you might find the one of your dreams. Fix you then, and only then, will life fall into place for you.
