North Oxford is one of the most expensive places to buy a house in the South of England according to a new report.
In Oxfordshire, Estate agents Savills put St Margaret’s Ward as the fourth most expensive area and North Ward as fifth, with average house prices of £878,068 and £813,341 respectively. Park Town and Southmoor Road feature some of the most expensive residences.
The most expensive place to buy a house in the South, excluding London, is Hambleden Valley, Wycombe, where the average house price was £984,037. Shiplake, near Henley, came second, with £944,613.
The most expensive area in England is Knightsbridge and Belgravia, London, where average properties cost £4.4m.
