Jeremy Paxman will present the series on the BBC
An Oxford University lecturer is the historical consultant for a new BBC documentary on the First World War which began last night.
Dr Adrian Gregory is a fellow and tutor in history at Pembroke College and has been providing his expertise to the makers of Britain’s Great War, presented by Jeremy Paxman.
The four-part series began last night on BBC One at 9pm.
