University lecturers and staff will again be on strike today in the continuing dispute with bosses over pay.

Members of the University and College Union (UCU) are holding the second in a series of three, two-hour walkouts this afternoon.

UCU members at both Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University will go on strike between 2pm to 4pm.

Brookes staff were last week told they would be docked a full day’s pay if they took part in the two-hour action.

It is the fourth day of strikes, nationwide, since October.
