Car destroyed by fire near Baynards Green roundabout
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a car fire on the A43 near the Baynards Green roundabout this morning.
Southbound lanes were closed off and the car was destroyed.
Two fire engines attended, both from Bicester Fire Station, to a call received at 11.19am.
They left the scene at 1pm. No one was injured in the incident.
Oxfordshire County Council spokesman Marcus Mabberley said that breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera were used.
