University staff will march through the city today in a dispute over pay.

Members of the University and College Union (UCU), UNISON and Unite at Oxford University and Oxford Brookes will take part in their third co-ordinated strike from 7.30am.

Picket lines will be at both universities before the march from the Clarendon Laboratory, off Parks Road, at 11am. A rally will be held at Wellington Square at noon.

UCU members staged two two-hour strikes last month and another is set for Monday.

Unions are angry at a one per cent pay offer made by their employers.
