A MEMBER of staff at McColls newsagents in Burford Road, Carterton, was last night threatened with a handgun during a robbery.
At around 10pm, a man walked into the newsagents and threatened the employee before making off with a quantity of cash towards Upavon Way.
He is described as white and was wearing dark clothing.
Investigating officer, Det Sgt Chris Whitwell of Force CID based at Banbury, said: "I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area, or has any knowledge of the offence to contact police immediately via 101.
