BICESTER resident Albert Parker wants people to cast their memory back to 1936 and help identify a group a of mums.
The group of 13 mothers were pictured holding their babies in Market Square as part of that year’s King George V silver jubilee celebrations.
Mr Parker, of Woodfield Road, Bicester, has identified four of the group, including his mother Besse holding his late brother Maurice, as well as Mrs Coles, Mrs Blowfield, and Mrs Bannister.
He said: “It was taken in 1936 in the Market Square. It was the Jubilee year.
“I’ve had the picture for years and I would like to know who the ladies are and fill in the other spaces.”
Anyone who can help identify any of the people should call Mr Parker on 01869 320291.
