TWO people have been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital after a van overturned on the M40 this morning.

Police officers and paramedics were called to the Southbound carriageway at Junction 8 just after 7am, where all three lanes have been closed.

South Central Ambulance Service says it has no information about the identity of the patients.

Traffic is currently being filtered through the hard shoulder.

Police spokesman James Williams advised motorists to avoid the area while the vehicle is being recovered.
