A Chiltern Railways spokeswoman said repair work will take place outside operating hours
Weekend rail passengers will not have their journeys disrupted by repair work following a landslip last Friday.
The landslip occurred between Banbury and Leamington Spa and affected journeys last week but a spokeswoman for Chiltern Railways said they did not expect any cancelled trains this weekend as engineering work to repair the damage is taking place outside of train operating hours.
“There will be no cancellations or alterations caused by the works,” said a spokeswoman.
However, trains are limited to 40mph in one direction and 50mph in the other.The temporary speed restriction is not causing any delays.
