Williams Advanced Engineering at Grove has been shortlisted for a top green award.

The business, which span out of the Williams Formula One team, has made the cut in the Best Smart Grid Innovation category of the UK Energy Innovation Awards. The awards are organised by the Energy Innovation Centre, which matches energy leaders with small businesses and innovators.

Managing director Denise Massey said: “Innovation is no longer an aspiration, it has become a part of the industry’s DNA and this will help to bring us one step closer to our goal of becoming a low-carbon economy.”
