THREE people were assaulted at Bicester Village shopping centre in an incident in which one suffered a broken leg.

The incident happened after a man tried to pay for goods using an unsigned credit card in the Versace store last Wednesday. When the card was declined, he went behind the till and tried to grab the card out of the cashier’s hand, catching the 32-year-old woman’s face.

The attacker was chased out of the store by staff to the car park, where he assaulted two other members of staff, one of whom suffered a broken leg.

During the assault, the suspect fell to the ground and was arrested.

Dc Joseph Stevenson appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident to call him on 101.
