FIFTEEN jobs have been created after a transport company opened a new £1.5m depot.
Reason Transport has moved into Heyford Park at Upper Heyford and bosses say more jobs are likely to be created there later this year.
Principal Alan Reason, pictured, said: “I’m delighted that the investment allows us to offer enhanced services to existing customers, as well as extending our expertise to a new audience.”
Reason Transport has been established for more than 60 years and is based in Coventry.
The move to Upper Heyford extends the company’s reach across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
The business has taken a 20,000 sq ft warehouse and has also invested in 11 new collection and delivery vehicles.
The enhanced services include increased secure storage, more efficient haulage routes for faster deliveries and an inter-depot service.
