A female Oxford University student is in critical condition
OXFORD: A 20-year-old female student at Oxford University is in a critical condition in hospital after falling through a skylight.
Thames Valley Police spokesman Hannah Williams said officers were called to commercial premises in Iffley Road last Friday at about 11.30pm.
She said: “She was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with serious injuries and remains in a critical but stable condition.”
The woman was a student at Mansfield College and, in a statement, it said: “The student had been with friends in a shared flat on Iffley Road. Precise circumstances of the accident are still being investigated.”
