BEAUTIFUL babies and terrific tots can be entered in the Oxford Mail Baby of The Year 2014 competition from Monday.

Families who enter will be in with the chance to win a holiday, a voucher, canvas photo print and a trophy.

Saisha-Indiana Davies, who will be two in July, was crowned the winner of last year’s competition after a vote by Oxford Mail readers.

In total, more than 3,600 text votes, 1,800 phone votes and 760 postal votes were cast for all the entries.

Mum Gemma Davies, from Lake Street, South Oxford, said Saisha enjoyed her first holiday to Great Yarmouth, adding: “It was amazing.

“We never thought that she would win. We thought we would put her in and see what happens. I was gobsmaked, I cried.”

The 31-year-old added: “I want somebody else to have that experience.

“If I have any more children I want to enter with them.”

The runners-up were Abingdon tot Mya Wright in the 10-18 month category and Bobby Charlett, from Headington, in the 19-36 month category.

To enter, fill in an entry form in the Oxford Mail and take your child to one of the photo booths covering the competition.

All entries will be published in a special supplement in the Oxford Mail and readers will then be able to vote for their favourite.

The baby with the most votes wins the overall prize, with a runner-up from each age category: zero-nine months, 10-18 months and 19-36 months.

The winner will receive a seven-night holiday with Pontins, a £50 Sainsbury’s voucher, a canvas print of their photo and a trophy.

Runners-up will win a three or four-night break with Pontins, a £25 Sainsbury’s voucher, a print and a trophy.
