Breakdowns are breakdowns. However, if they are subsequently found to be caused through neglect/lack of servicing then substantial fines should be levied.

Drivers who pay to keep their vehicles in good condition should not be inconvenienced by those who don't.

Daft thing - it was on the downward slope less than 20 yards from the junction with 4 police officers directing traffic. Why the hell not push the **** thing out the way? In fact if they'd dropped the handbrake it could have rolled out the way.

Sorry, but the car needed to be lifted. and as for servicing it was 20 minutes from having been serviced at a garage. Some people can't count or are seeing double there were two Police Officers. Two others came and went to escort a tow truck.
The AA who were called at 9:10 eventually turned up closer to mid-day this was a priority call and they came from Reading.
So these things unfortunately happen, just hope they don't happen to any of you.
