CHILDREN made a rainbow when the Science Roadshow came to their school.
Pupils at St Joseph’s Primary School in Carterton received a visit from Oxford University engineers and mathematicians last Thursday.
The scientists are touring county schools as part of this year’s Oxfordshire Science Festival.
Rachel Howard, 11, from Carterton, said: “I can’t think of anything more fun than science experiments where we can get our hands mucky. Science will help me towards my dream job of being a vet.”
Lucja Jakubowska, 10, from Carterton, said: “It was really fun to do an experiment with the Oxford University people. I learned about density and how liquids can separate.”
The science festival, which runs until Sunday, is bringing hands-on science to schools, market places and theatres around Oxfordshire.
