PEOPLE with learning disabilities were stimulated when a striking production came to Didcot’s Cornerstone Arts Centre.

Theatre company Frozen Light brought Tunnels to the centre for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities aged 13 to 25.

They were taken through the tunnels accompanied by music, lights and mirrors last Thursday.

Among those who attended was Didcot’s Olivia Ritter, 23, who has angelman syndrome, a rare genetic condition affecting the nervous system.

Support worker Sacha Barr, 22, said: “It was really good, the crew involved everyone.”

The company’s Lucy Garland said it was for “an audience who do not usually have access to the theatre”.

Centre director Emma Dolman said: “At Cornerstone we are passionate about providing accessible theatre for everyone in our community.”
