A £10m redevelopment of a Witney student campus has been approved.
Abingdon and Witney College has received planning permission from West Oxfordshire District Council to build two new teaching blocks at the Welch Way site.
The old Witney Magistrates’ Court and another building near the site entrance will be demolished to make way. The blocks will add 18 classrooms, six computer suites and a construction workshop to the college.
The town council backed the plans but will request funding to add a new lane at the traffic lights of the junction between Welch Way and Woodford Way.
