COGGES Manor Farm in Witney has welcomed springtime by offering visitors some new attractions.

The Church Lane farm reopened at the weekend after its winter break.

Elizabeth Moulder, 82, has been working at Cogges for more than 20 years, first as an employee when it was run by the county council and now as a volunteer.

The Witney resident said: “The house is a lot like the cottage I was born in, but on a much grander scale. There are no modern gadgets in the kitchen so I feel right at home.”

The weekend featured crafts and the museum’s new pair of Oxford Sandy and Black piglets donated by Witney MP and Prime Minister David Cameron.

The farm is open Tuesdays to Sundays, 10.30am-5pm, until November 2.
