ALL LANES on the M40 Southbound between J10 and 9 have now been re-opened following an earlier accident.

A car overturned on the motorway following a collision with a lorry just before 8am.

Drivers are still facing delays between J10 on the A43 Brackley and J9 A34 Bicester.

Police, ambulance and fire services attended the scene.

A spokeswoman for the ambulance service confirmed that one person has been taken to the Horton General Hospital.

The spokeswoman said: “The call came in at 7.59am. We sent one ambulance and one rapid response car.

“The person has been sent to Horton General Hospital, but it is not believed to be serious.”
Lanes were re-opened at 9am.
