A GOVERNMENT minister was back in the classroom yesterday to find out about a school’s project.
Lord John Nash, the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Schools, was at Oxford High School to hear about its collaboration with Year 5 and 6 students.
Under the scheme about 20 pupils at St Nicholas’ Primary School come to the secondary school in Belbroughton Road every week to use the secondary school’s lab in a move spearheaded by science teacher Maria Whittington. And yesterday her lesson was observed by Lord Nash, who was educated at Corpus Christi College, Oxford.
