Health minister sees malaria vaccine work

Government health minister Norman Lamb visited Oxford University’s Jenner Institute to see work being done to fight TB and malaria.

The Lib Dem minister for care and support, right, spent an hour at the centre in Roosevelt Drive, Oxford, yesterday accompanied by Lib Dem MEP Catherine Bearder and Lib Dem parliamentary candidate Layla Moran.

Mr Lamb said: “Thanks to EU financial support, Britain is continuing to lead the world in cutting-edge medical research.”
