RESIDENTS in the Vale of White Horse are being offered cheaper garden waste collections if they sign up before May 31.
The offer gives a 10 per cent discount for the £37-per-year service.
The fortnightly brown wheelie bin collection is for grass, leaves, weeds, flowers, hedge clippings and branches.
The district council and its partner South Oxfordshire District Council are also giving away free compost on Saturday, May 10, from 9.30am-12.30pm at the council offices in Benson Lane, Crowmarsh Gifford, near Wallingford.
